Project Learning Tree workshop in New Palestine, April 26, 27
DNR is hosting a Project Learning Tree (PLT) workshop in New Palestine on April 26 and 27, at Dani's Dreams Outdoor Center at Zion Lutheran School.
The workshop is for kids Pre-K through eighth grade. It will run from 4-7 p.m. each day.
Participants will experience indoor and outdoor activities that engage students in hands-on investigations of environmental topics.
PLT is an international environmental education program that uses the forest ecosystem to teach all subject areas in preschool through high school.
To receive the Pre-K-8 Environmental Education activity guide, participants must attend both days. Indiana PLT is a provider of Professional Growth Points and Library Education Units.
