National/State Registry honorees to be recognized at State Fair, Aug. 11
Indiana properties that have been placed on the State and National historic registers since April 2010 will be honored by DNR Historic Preservation & Archaeology (DHPA) on Aug. 11, which is Hoosier Heritage Day at the Indiana State Fair.
The ceremony will take place at the DNR Amphitheater, an outdoor facility on the fairgrounds, at 1 p.m.
Properties in the following cities will be recognized: Angola, Bruceville vicinity, Crown Point, Edinburgh, Fort Wayne, Goshen, Greencastle, Hammond, Indianapolis, Lowell, Merrillville, Monticello, Munster, New Albany, Plymouth, Seymour, Syracuse vicinity, Valparaiso, Wabash, and Winchester.
