Salamonie Lake Children's Day Camp, Aug. 3-5
Salamonie Lake's "Wetland Wanderings" day camp will be held Aug. 3-5 for ages 7-11.
Campers will study wetland plants and animals through exciting, hands-on activities. Camp runs from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. each day. Activities include a canoeing session, pond creature search, and daily hikes and crafts. Camps will be led by experienced interpretive naturalists.
Each camp costs $45 per child with a small discount for additional same-family siblings. Registration and a completed health/media release form are required for each camp.
For more information or to register, call Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at (260) 468-2127. Advance registration is required and space is limited. A snack will be provided; however, children need to bring a sack lunch with drink each day.
