Get Wild About Wildlife at McCormick's Creek State Park, Aug. 6
McCormick's Creek State Park will host the 11th annual Wild About Wildlife on Saturday, Aug. 6, in its nature center.
Representatives from WildCare Inc. and park naturalists will introduce several different animal ambassadors starting at 11 a.m. Featured animals include the American crow, broad-winged hawk, great horned owl, striped skink and four different kinds of turtles.
The day will conclude with a program on bats beginning at 7 p.m.
Animal presentations are free. Regular park entrance fees of $5 for in-state and $7 for out-of-state vehicles will apply.
