Indiana Info Fishing Reports The Indiana Weekend Fishing Report 04/30/2010
Monroe reservoir fishing report: Crappie remain on the bite in backs of coves and around structure. A few walleye being caught near bluegill beds. Bass fishing has slowed. Some bass are still on the beds, but most are in post spawn. The tailwaters are giving up lots of small crappie and a few good walleye.
Farm ponds fishing report: Farm pond fishing remains good. Bass have spawned and are in post spawn. Crappie fishing is good. Bluegill are on the beds.
Griffy lake fishing report: Bluegill, redear and crappie are biting. Lots of dink bass being caught. Bluegill are on the beds.
Summit lake fishing report: Lots of dink bass being caught. A few nice walleye and channel cats being caught.
White river fishing report: Noblesville to Bedford. Carp and catfishing is good. Some nice smallmouth being caught. Flathead fishing has picked up with some good ones being taken on live bait. Some good channel cats being caught, and a few sauger.
Bluegrass Fish & Wildlife area fishing report: Crappie are just about done spawning. Still some good stringer fulls being caught. Small bass mixed with a few really nice bass being taken on jig & pig.
Ohio river stripers: Newburgh dam has them packed in there. They were busting all over the place. Seems the skipjacks are running too. Spring Sauger fishing has been poor at best. Unusually low water levels are the main culprit.
Raccoon reservoir fishing report: A good crappie bite in backs of bays and coves. No other reports avaiable for here.
Brookville reservoir: A good channel cat bite, a few walleye being taken on the flats. Bluegill fishing is good.
Cataract lake fishing report: Reporting a good crappie bite near the dam. Channel cats being caught on nightcrawlers and cut bait. No reports of any walleye.
Indiana Mushroom report: The last rain we got down here has really got them popping up. They are finding lots of the big yellow sponge morels.
