Kayaking at Patoka Lake on Saturday September 11th
WHO: Everyone welcome!
WHAT: Kayak into Nature
WHEN: Saturday, September 11th
9:30a.m. Eastern Time
WHERE: Painter Creek Boat Ramp
DNR Patoka Reservoir
Bring your kayak (or canoe) and join the naturalist for a tour on the lake Saturday, September 11th 9:30a.m. at the Painter Creek Boat Ramp on Highway 145. You can also meet the naturalist at the Patoka Lake Visitor Center to car caravan to the boat ramp. Caravan will leave at 8:45a.m. Enjoy a morning on the waters of Patoka as we check out beautiful creek scenery and look for beaver, bald eagle, and other wildlife along the way. Bring preferred refreshments and sunscreen for this two hour journey.
The entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents ($7 out of state) is required for the Newton Stewart State Recreation Area, Patoka Reservoir, located north of Wickliffe Indiana, Highway 164.
