Bbq & Blues at McCormick's Creek State Park, Sept. 11
Delicious traditional and vegetarian barbecue specialties by Smokin' Jack's Rib Shack, plus local blues music will grace McCormick's Creek State Park during BBQ & Blues on Sept. 11.
From 2-8 p.m. competitively priced meals featuring a variety of items will be sold, as will a la carte items.
Guests can relax in the shade listening to blues groups. The Freddie Shaw Band leads off, followed by the Hungry Dog Blues Band, and an evening performance by King Bee and the Stingers.
Added attractions include activities for children, and a car show of select Model A, classic and muscle cars.
All activities will be set up in the large pool/nature center parking area.
Regular park entry fee applies ($5 per in-state vehicle; $7 per out-of-state vehicle). For more information, call (812) 829-4344.
