Flint knapping demo at Tippecanoe SP, Sept. 11
Nationally known flint-knapper, Ed Mosher will demonstrate the Native American art of Flint knapping at Tippecanoe River State Park on Sept. 11.
During the presentation on the state park's Nature Center patio, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mosher will show how ancient blades, spear points, and tools were made from stone.
The usual daily gate fee of $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle will be charged. The program itself is free.
