Pokagon State Park Seaplane Splash In, Sept. 26
The Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association Eighth Annual Seaplane Splash In will be held at Pokagon State Park and the Potawatomi Inn on Sept. 26.
Pilots from around the Midwest will be flying in seaplanes, landing on Lake James, and rolling up onto the inn's front lawn. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., park visitors may view planes, visit with pilots, and sign up for free-ride drawings. To participate as a pilot and for more information, visit www.seaplanepilots.org/inspa.
All activities take place on the beach and lawn area at the inn. The event is free; however, the standard, daily, park entrance fee ($5 per in-state vehicle, $7 per out-of-state vehicle) or annual park pass ($36 in-state, $46 out-of-state) is required. Both are available at the front gate.
