Gobble-uns Weekend At Lieber SRA, Oct. 22-24
Lieber State Recreation Area will play host to Gobble-uns Weekend this Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct. 22-24.
Guests can partake in fall color boat rides, hayrides, pumpkin decorating, leaf print T-shirt making, a pumpkin rolling contest, trick-or-treat bag decorating, Halloween crafts, a campsite decorating contest, a hillbilly golf tournament, and trick-or-treating in the campground.
The boat rides take off at 4 and 5 p.m. on Friday. The rides cost $1 per person and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Saturday activities start at 10 a.m. with the pumpkin decorating contest. Saturday’s hayrides run from 10 to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Participants should meet at the campground parking lot. Rides are $1 per person, first-come, first-served. Trick-or-treating runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday hayrides run from 10 a.m. to noon. Sunday’s boat rides depart at 10 and 11 a.m., and the hillbilly golf tournament starts at noon.
