Indiana Info Fishing Report The Weekend Report
Nov. 18, 2010
Fishing has slowed down about everywhere. Not very many getting out. We have had lots of good deer hunting reports including a very nice one by our own "INSTEEL".
Farm Ponds and Pits: Fishing has slowed. Anglers are still catching crappie, bass, and a few channel cats.
Ohio River: Wipers and stripers being caught. A few channel cats on chicken livers and nightcrawlers. Some big blues cats being caught in both the Ohio and Wabash rivers on cut skip-jack. Flathead cat fishing has improved and some nice fish up to 35 pounds have been caught near warm water dis-charges..
Summit Lake fishing report: Fishing has slowed and the bites poor..
Raccoon Lake: Bass fishing is reported to be poor. Some nice crappie being caught in cover 4 to 8 feet deep with jigs.
White river: Water level is way down. A few sauger being caught. Some channel cats being caught on nightcrawlers and stink baits. A few flatheads hitting on live bait. Blue cats are hitting in deep holes, and some good ones being caught if you can find them. Some nice smallmouth coming out of the Noblesville and Martinsville Indiana area's of the river.
Patoka lake: Fishing has slowed down. A few crappie and bass being reported. Crappie are in deeper water over brush piles. The crappie are being caught in the main lake near channels. Bass that are being caught are just about all dinks. Bites slow.
.
