Martinsville Indiana Fishing Up-date
Fishing in farm ponds around Martinsville Indiana has slowed down. Some bass, crappie, and a few channel catfish being taken.
The Martinsville Indiana city park has slowed way down. Not much of anything biting.
Fox Cliff lakes: A good top-water bite for bass. Channel Catfish hitting on night crawlers and chicken livers.
Patton Lake near Martinsville Indiana has slowed. Some good bass being caught, but the bite is slow.
Shireman Estate lakes: N/A Very low water levels. No report this week.
Painted Hills Lakes near Martinsville Indiana: Some bluegill and bass being caught. Bite is slow.
White river fishing in and near Martinsville Indiana has a few nice smallmouth being taken on small crankbaits. Some sauger being caught up near the dam along Indiana 39 and 67 at the IPL dam. Flathead cat fishing has picked up with a few nice ones being caught south of town. A few blue catfish being taken on cut skip-jack. Channel catfish on nightcrawlers.

Let's keep this area of the river safe, beautiful, and litter free. I encourage DNR to keep putting on the pressure at this location.
