Indiana Fishing Report 2/25/2011 Farm Ponds are all open water with no ice. Turtle Creek reservoir. A few nice channel cats being caught along with some dink bluegill. The bite is slow, and fish are hitting on night crawlers. Gibson Lake is giving up some nice channel cats on chicken livers and nightcrawlers. Monroe reservoir: A few small crappie being taken by trolling in deep water. A very slow bite. Ohio River reports the sauger and walleye bite is slow. Twisters tipped with a minnows, and tucked right up agianst the locks are catching a few nice fish. A few big blue cats being caught on frozen cut gizzard shad and skipjack. Not many anglers getting out. Water levels are slightly high and some big ice chunks are floating downstream. Summit lake still has some safe ice, but it's risky. A few bluegill and redear being caught. NOT MUCH ICE LEFT ANYWHERE IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN INDIANA, AND WHAT ICE IS LEFT I WOULD CONSIDER UN-SAFE. Good Fishing Everyone !!! sammy www.indianainfo.net/
